The Strix, a portable magnification solution for the visually impaired!


Assistance with reading, writing and far vision have now been combined in one product. The Strix will enable a wide range of activities, enhancing the independence and of the user.

The Strix is a handheld full colour electronic magnifier with an integrated 7inch TFT display and an autofocus camera. It enables the user to carry out a host of everyday tasks like reading newspapers and books, consulting timetables at stations and airports, reading text on consumer products in shops or participating actively in business meetings and presentations at work.

With the stand the Strix can replace the large desk top magnifiers.

Far Vision
The unique feature of the Strix is the help it offers with far vision. Distant objects can be magnified and viewed easily, bringing countless advantages in many different situations. At school, at work, or socially, Strix users can actively participate in their environments from now on.

Reading
The Strix magnifies 4 to 22 times. In addition to a full colour mode, it has a black on white mode and a white on black mode.

Writing
With its built-in writing position, the Strix can be tilted at an angle, facilitating the writing and signing of documents.

Reading Stand
The Strix comes as standard with a reading/writing stand. This lifts the Strix high enough to be used for task work (see picture). The stand fixes to most tables and uses a clamp. The Strix can be clipped in and out of the stand as required.
